An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 9th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Stehno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Martin Grøtterud sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Grøtterud ran over to the corner to take the kick. Waldemar Okopny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Martin Grøtterud went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 41st minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Eguzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonatan Eguzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Michal Stehno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Michal Stehno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Michal Stehno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Martin Grøtterud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Nestor Bâru replaced Martin Grøtterud. 66 minutes into the game, Nestor Bâru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru. But to his dismay, Nestor Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. A well-hit corner resulted in Lateef Raal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 83 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenni Skensved kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Lenni Skensved quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 95th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Unidad de Matanza fully deserved thier win.
