Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play forced Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Ermegildo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Nuno made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benjamin Medero immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Hugo Natanael took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafin Quentin in the 25th minute. Ermegildo Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafin Quentin. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hugo Natanael 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Ulises Urtun got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Jose Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Correa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Natanael in the 45th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ermegildo Baristo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 50 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Serafin Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 58th minute Miguel Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Baristo. That made the score 3-1 after 65 minutes of play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Jose Correa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Miguel Ciceron sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The supporters of Malvinas Argentinas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Quentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
