Jefferson Saldanha hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Loud Academy FC's Vitinho Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitinho Hoffmann got free with Camilo Freixa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Loud Academy FC's Camilo Freixa threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cássio Linares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 27 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. In the 32nd minute, Jefferson Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Fontirroig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dagoberto Guimarães was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Loud Academy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Alfredo Ferrant scored to the left of an out of position Dagoberto Guimarães, making the score, 2-1. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Hoffmann in the 54th minute of play. Iuri Mota hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Ferrant was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Bolivia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute, Alfredo Ferrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Guimarães having to interfere. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Loud Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Ferrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bolivia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
