Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Emmanuel Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Western Springs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Corley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Western Springs FC's Garrett Brock. But to his dismay, Garrett Brock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Garrett Brock recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Garrett Brock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Garrett Brock succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Western Springs FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Corley. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Corley to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Western Springs FC's goalkeeper Hal Mackey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kerry McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerry McDonald took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Emmanuel Corley scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Western Springs FC's Charlie Armenta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Colby Saucedo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerry McDonald took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 97 minutes into the match, Kerry McDonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerry McDonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Western Springs FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
