Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Garrett Brock kicked off to start the match. Monroe Munoz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Western Springs FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Western Springs FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hal Mackey in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Western Springs FC's zone, Joshua Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hal Mackey came out of the goal and Joshua Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Western Springs FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Emmanuel Corley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hal Mackey was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lionel Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Western Springs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lionel Egan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Brock in the 41st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Brock, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Emmanuel Corley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Western Springs FC's Kerry McDonald was substituted for Garrett Brock. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Hal Mackey made a huge save. Hal Mackey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Emmanuel Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Corley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry McDonald in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Western Springs FC's Emmanuel Corley couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. The supporters of Western Springs FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's goalkeeper Hal Mackey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After 85 minutes, Lionel Egan made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Western Springs FC's Hal Mackey got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Western Springs FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
