Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Wilbert Hatfield got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Frankie Russell. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Western Springs FC's Garrett Brock in the 7th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jonathan Ferrant was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Venezuela through an amazing save. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Monroe Munoz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garrett Brock in the 14th minute of play. Lionel Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th match minute, Western Springs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbert Hatfield to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Emmanuel Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Western Springs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Western Springs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frankie Russell to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hal Mackey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. When Emmanuel Corley came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Western Springs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Corley couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Corley. Emmanuel Corley came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Corley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Emmanuel Corley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Garrett Brock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Garrett Brock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Wilbert Hatfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Western Springs FC's Kerry McDonald was substituted for Garrett Brock. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emmanuel Corley was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Western Springs FC got a freekick which was hit by Colby Saucedo. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Hal Mackey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Western Springs FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hal Mackey came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Russell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Western Springs FC's Kerry McDonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry McDonald in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Patricio Costa from a close distance when the talented Hal Mackey managed to make a qualified save. Western Springs FC's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, Kerry McDonald notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerry McDonald in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emmanuel Corley scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Western Springs FC's Frankie Russell made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emmanuel Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hal Mackey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Corley in the 97th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Western Springs FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
