Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Weather Diz in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Iwo Jaszcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Iwo Jaszcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Méndez Marfa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilberto Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Jakobe in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lealtad Futbol Club's Toro Martínez was substituted for Gilberto Jakobe. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Méndez Marfa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Toro Martínez struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lealtad Futbol Club. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Méndez Marfa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lealtad Futbol Club's Méndez Marfa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Méndez Marfa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Bartosz Snaza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. 97 minutes into the match, Lealtad Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Méndez Marfa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lealtad Futbol Club to leave the ground with a draw.
