Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Belarmo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rene Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sarandí Fútbol Club's Rene Estevon. Rene Estevon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Raimundo Nardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 26 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Santo. After 34 minutes, Axel Tasis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Sarandí Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Belarmo in the 41st minute of the match. Sarandí Fútbol Club's Rene Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Benjamin Berbiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarandí Fútbol Club and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Berbiz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 46th minute of play forced Sarandí Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Rene Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Santo was the one to do the kick off. Albino Santo, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Albino Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Estevon having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Raimundo Nardo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Federico Belarmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Sarandí Fútbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
