La Società Sport Osasco's Samuel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when La Società Sport Osasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. CJ Lewandowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 played minutes La Società Sport Osasco got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Hoffmann. In the 17th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Santos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Santos. Samuel Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Wincek's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Emil Wincek put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Hoffmann, made in the 65th minute of the game. La Società Sport Osasco made a substitution. Gilvan Maranhense replaced Emil Wincek. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Quirino in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. La Società Sport Osasco's Samuel Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save La Società Sport Osasco from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, CJ Lewandowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Samuel Santos was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-4. Samuel Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute.
