Charlie Blevins hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Trillkott. After 21 minutes, Qiao Qi Bo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Kristian Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Trillkott in the 26th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Chificeac, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Martinsson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Octav Chificeac notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Loco came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
