Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) IF Älgarna's Jonny Månsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when John Olofsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind IF Älgarna's goalkeeper Albert Freitag, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after IF Älgarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Albert Freitag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Albert Freitag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Albert Freitag in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 32 played minutes IF Älgarna got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Wiklund. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind IF Älgarna's goalkeeper Albert Freitag, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Freitag. IF Älgarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The IF Älgarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Albert Freitag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game John Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Månsson in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albert Freitag, 0-2. After having played for 69 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Freitag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Edgar Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IF Älgarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, IF Älgarna's Edgar Eklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 94 minutes into the match, IF Älgarna's goalkeeper Albert Freitag had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
