An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play forced Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goalkeeper Korkutalp Onkal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Abdi Mehmet Kayaer. But to his dismay, Abdi Mehmet Kayaer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A collision led to Sadikköy Erdoğan FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fazıl Hüsnü Batı hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Şahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Agustín Saelices's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Korkutalp Onkal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Melih Şahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korkutalp Onkal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Korkutalp Onkal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK made a substitution. Peyami Özarkın replaced Bilal Aynacıoğlu. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Şahan in the 71st minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's goalkeeper Korkutalp Onkal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Korkutalp Onkal got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdulbaki Karabey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sadikköy Erdoğan FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdulbaki Karabey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
