Wellington Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 36th minute of the match. Wellington Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Villa went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After 51 played minutes Riograndense FC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Arósio. After 58 minutes of play, Riograndense FC's Juan Almeida made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riograndense FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yuri Meira took the corner. Wellington Sena made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes Riograndense FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Vasconcelos. 83 minutes into the match, Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Wellington Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Wellington Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luca Espinar's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Almeida in the 94th minute of play. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
