Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juan Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Riograndense FC's Juan Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Almeida went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Juan Almeida in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riograndense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rômulo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Almeida. When Lino Torres came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Riograndense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Torres couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Lino Torres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Lino Torres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Fontes in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Torres in the 63rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Lino Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riograndense FC's Wellington Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 78th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Juan Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Lino Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Riograndense FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
