Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arturo Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Saporiti. Adolfas Alekseriūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 柳邦义 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柳邦义, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 柳邦义's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. The goalkeeper, Benito Sanz, was totally fooled by ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Arturo Marquez, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eduardo Saporiti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arturo Marquez. In the 27th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Eduardo Saporiti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Saporiti in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hugo Ferrant thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Benito Sanz, a very annoying self made goal in the 40th minute which led to 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Indar. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Noboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Saporiti made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s 柳邦义 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Saporiti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Eduardo Saporiti got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 65th minute. The corner ended in Axel Tasis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Cleto Indar did a great save. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 柳邦义 in the 70th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ got a freekick which was hit by Victor Pasqual. In the 83rd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Indar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! 90 minutes into the match, Arturo Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s 柳邦义 in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. When 柳邦义 came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柳邦义 couldn't finish the play. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Eduardo Saporiti got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
