In the 45th minute, Carmelo Osoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of the match. Cecilio Jax made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Cecilio Jax in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match, Santino Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cecilio Jax saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 65th minute of play. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Jax having to interfere. Cecilio Jax was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Munio in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cecilio Jax made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
