Svetaslav Yanchyk had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. Svetaslav Yanchyk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Tanio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Libertad FC's Florentino Argina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Franco, made in the 41st minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetaslav Yanchyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svetaslav Yanchyk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertad FC's Albino Urbes. But to his dismay, Albino Urbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Svetaslav Yanchyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Albino Urbes made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Libertad FC's Svetaslav Yanchyk got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Morten Hovland during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Libertad FC's Morten Hovland got a free kick in the 96th minute.
