Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 9th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Themos Leontiadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Corrigan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Erik Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themos Leontiadis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themos Leontiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute Guillermo Fontirroig beautifully dribbled past Panionios MK's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Erik Vale pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Vale. Erik Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Themos Leontiadis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 54th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Themos Leontiadis made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 62nd minute Themos Leontiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Erik Vale made a huge save. Erik Vale made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Erik Vale to make any attempt to save it. Panionios MK's Erik Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Panionios MK from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Erik Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 81st minute of play forced Panionios MK's goalkeeper Erik Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Erik Vale in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chile were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Panionios MK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Carballar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erik Vale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Panionios MK's Erik Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 91st minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Panionios MK's Erik Vale got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Erik Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panionios MK.
