Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evarado Ibias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Evarado Ibias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Osmanlıspor FK's goalkeeper Evarado Ibias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but Osmanlıspor FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
