Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Rito in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Oscar Rito had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Berriotxoa having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jovica Zeković in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jovica Zeković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Rito came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Atilano Xabat managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Felix Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Rito to strike the kick off in the second half. Jovica Zeković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Oscar Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Berriotxoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Berriotxoa having to interfere. Jovica Zeković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Manchester Quijano's Albino Berriotxoa got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Manchester Quijano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. Manchester Quijano were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loren Eaton took the corner. Atilano Xabat was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Rito in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Albino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Berriotxoa. Albino Berriotxoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Oscar Rito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
