After 13 minutes, Moisés Marquez made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Predador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Walmir Neiva made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Denílson de Andrade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ulisses Vaz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Predador's Denílson de Andrade got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Moisés Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moisés Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Moisés Marquez sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Predador's Waldemar Cardozo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 92nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Predador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Predador booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Vaz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Predador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
