Isaac Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. When AFC United's Andries De Putter in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Lei Bin threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santino Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Ken vrolix in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Axel Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lei Bin. That made the score 1-2 after 35 minutes of play. Isaac Fernandez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andries De Putter made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Andries De Putter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of AFC United's Lei Bin. Lei Bin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AFC United made a substitution. Peru Diaz replaced Bilintx Trilla. AFC United's Faustino Asprilla was substituted for Andries De Putter. The throw-in from Ken vrolix in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. AFC United's attentive Ken vrolix managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Indiano made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Asprilla in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Faustino Asprilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Asprilla in the 82nd minute of play. Faustino Asprilla struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC United. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Faustino Asprilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Faustino Asprilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Antonio Indiano threw the ball into play from the sideline. AFC United's Ken vrolix quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Faustino Asprilla got a free kick in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
