Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Huyghebaert got free with Rolando Noboa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lei Bin having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Fernandez in the 8th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lei Bin. AFC United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Fernandez in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lei Bin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Huyghebaert to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Eliseo Mina took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Lei Bin to make any attempt to save it. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lei Bin having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lei Bin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 65th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. AFC United's Peru Diaz was substituted for Bilintx Trilla. AFC United made a substitution. Isa Savage replaced Edward Huyghebaert. In the 75th minute Faustino Asprilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AFC United's Lei Bin got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Asprilla took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Lei Bin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute. Peru played a much better game than AFC United and deserved their victory. The AFC United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
