Manuel Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Alves saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Lain hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, William Angelsø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izaltina FAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Angelsø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrik Gribfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Wágner de Sena hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Matías Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's William Angelsø. But to his dismay, William Angelsø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Well-Well Waack got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Izaltina FAD's William Magalhães was substituted for Patrik Gribfeldt. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Manuel Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Luca Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izaltina FAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Facundo Cadaval made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Well-Well Waack made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Manuel Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
