Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agnaldo Marinho started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play forced Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Giuseppe Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Giuseppe Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. Agnaldo Marinho scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Moreto F.C. - Capivari getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Conrado Barreto hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Giuseppe Leite threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Giuseppe Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Ademir Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Barreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Igor Valle was substituted for Conrado Barreto. A collision led to Moreto F.C. - Capivari getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Conrado Barreto hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giuseppe Leite saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play forced Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe Leite was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Giuseppe Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Moreto F.C. - Capivari from getting a goal against them. Giuseppe Leite came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 90 minutes into the match, Geovani Barreto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Moreto F.C. - Capivari getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lúcio Capixaba hit a great ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giuseppe Leite but with some difficulty. Geovani Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Moreto F.C. - Capivari support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
