Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börje Jelm started the match with the kick off. Begg Scully took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Antonis Liolidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antonis Liolidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Liolidis having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Red Lions Of Hell's Mariano Raphael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced Red Lions Of Hell's goalkeeper Antonis Liolidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonis Liolidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of the match. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Liolidis having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Börje Jelm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. Dante Lacasa had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Börje Jelm's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonis Liolidis having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonis Liolidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Lions Of Hell's goalkeeper Antonis Liolidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonis Liolidis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Antonis Liolidis made a huge save. After having played for 75 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonis Liolidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Red Lions Of Hell's Antonis Liolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Red Lions Of Hell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Panikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Antonis Liolidis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
