Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristian Martinsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 8th minute of play. Qiao Qi Bo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Qi Bo in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerry Brunault who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Kristian Martinsson 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Qiao Qi Bo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Qiao Qi Bo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe S.K. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Loco in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Qiao Qi Bo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Qiao Qi Bo made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Loco in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Felice Patricelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kristian Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Loco Loco came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Fenerbahçe S.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Loco couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Trillkott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Loco Loco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Trillkott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Loco Loco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Qiao Qi Bo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Loco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Trillkott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ecuador supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fenerbahçe S.K.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Fenerbahçe S.K..
