Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tayfun Türkşen started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayfun Türkşen in the 6th minute. A collision led to CHE getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Songurbey Baloğlu hit a great ball. When Gonzales Jabariego fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHE's protests and gave Gonzales Jabariego a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, CHE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzales Jabariego to maneuver through the defense. Nuri Özkurt made a great header on CHE's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadam Bílek in the 24th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, CHE's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aadam Bílek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CHE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kamil Kutsalan in the 29th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Tayfun Türkşen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayfun Türkşen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aadam Bílek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Aadam Bílek took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Ertan Giyas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Tayfun Türkşen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ertan Giyas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tayfun Türkşen might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tayfun Türkşen ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuri Özkurt in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Aadam Bílek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Aadam Bílek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aadam Bílek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 71st minute of play forced CHE's goalkeeper Ertan Giyas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ertan Giyas firmly grabbed it by the left post. 79 minutes into the game, Cevdet Sehhar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayfun Türkşen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CHE's Tayfun Türkşen, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CHE. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Aadam Bílek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CHE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
