The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with 严然骋 in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 严然骋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Emanuel Galsino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced TOLENGO's goalkeeper 严然骋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. 严然骋 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. TOLENGO's 严然骋 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save TOLENGO from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
