El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Patrick Sampaio made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jailson Sousa. 8 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rodrigues came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita stood somewhat misplaced when Marcos Rodrigues came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Marcos Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Rodrigues got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Nico Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Jailson Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Tinoco in the 60th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jailson Sousa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Celsinho Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Celsinho Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apocalipse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Marcos Rodrigues elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gianluigi Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Rodrigues in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Apocalipse FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
