Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Aitor Branca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Aitor Branca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Dolar Blue Ψ's Javier Perpiñán managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Mario Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Javier Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Perpiñán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dolar Blue Ψ's Arnulfo Chano was substituted for Aitor Branca. Dolar Blue Ψ made a substitution. Julian Beturian replaced Teofilo Umbruso. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Javier Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Chano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Chano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Arnulfo Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolar Blue Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 75 minutes into the match, Abram Secada dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Javier Perpiñán, 3-3. Javier Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dolar Blue Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The Colombia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
