One of Curacao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fúria Futebol Clube:s goal. Cristian Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Pernambucano in the 9th minute. Durval Rossi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Pernambucano in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pernambucano came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cristian Pernambucano sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Cerezo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Pernambucano in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristian Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fúria Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Cruz took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Curacao's Kyle Davies sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Cristian Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanley Wallace got free with Júlio Porto in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanley Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gil Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gil Tróia. 71 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Cruz in the 72nd minute of play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Cerezo in the 76th minute of play. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pernambucano in the 85th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Sílvio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Durval Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sílvio Cruz scored 5-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Fúria Futebol Clube were the better team. Fúria Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
