With a little luck, Freezerpool FC's Miki Moco got control of the ball when Eliseo Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sajones F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fidel Macerio in the 9th minute. Mo Feng Xiang made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isaias Sazon immediately put the ball in play. In the 14th minute, Ferruccio Chelodi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17thth minute of the game Zhao Peng Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sajones F.C.'s Pastor Frantzes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentín Barco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sajones F.C. defense, Zhao Peng Yi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Frantzes. The Sajones F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Frantzes should have stopped the shot. Zhao Peng Yi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miki Moco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Isaias Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zhao Peng Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Frantzes having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Zhao Peng Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Zhao Peng Yi made the kick off in the second half. If Zhao Peng Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Sajones F.C.'s Hugo Raitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miki Moco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Robert Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freezerpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Frantzes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Rucha Dupak replaced Halil Niğdeli. In the 90th minute Robert Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
