Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Morjan Sarkhoh came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Bartoleme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Bartoleme. Vicente Bartoleme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vicente Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Vicente Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Agustín Saelices as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morjan Sarkhoh in the 22nd minute of the match. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Vicente Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Bartoleme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morjan Sarkhoh in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Morjan Sarkhoh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Morjan Sarkhoh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Morjan Sarkhoh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Agustín Saelices's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Bartoleme was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Bartoleme saved Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. from getting behind. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morjan Sarkhoh, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Morjan Sarkhoh made a kick off. Timoteo Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nereo Inge was slow to take the kick. During this time Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Igor Stephen to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 54 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nereo Inge who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nereo Inge got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 81st minute, Adrián Czornomaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. 87 minutes into the match, Adrián Czornomaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrián Czornomaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Vicente Bartoleme however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vicente Bartoleme made a huge save. A collision led to Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rigoberto Lucado hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
