Braulio Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gesner Philippe in the 9th minute of play. Gesner Philippe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Ledesma having to interfere. Braulio Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernso Constant, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th match minute, Fortinducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Polo to maneuver through the defense. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Estavan, made in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fernando Estavan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Ernso Constant got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Ledesma having to interfere. The supporters of Haiti booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Ledesma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Ledesma having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Alphonse made a kick off. Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fortinducto from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Rito came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Fernando Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortinducto and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Fortinducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Estavan to maneuver through the defense. When Hilario Calvet fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortinducto's protests and gave Hilario Calvet a yellow card for diving instead. Hilario Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gesner Philippe got free with Braulio Ledesma in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Alphonse in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Braulio Ledesma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over Haiti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fortinducto throughout the match.
