Patrik Sikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. Ademir Tandes short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Seterma Tractors's Paulo Renato Pombal got a free kick in the 37th minute. Seterma Tractors's Enéas de Toledo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
