The referee gave Bolivia a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mario Fernandino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma. 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Fortinducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Fortinducto from getting a goal against them. Braulio Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 37th minute of the match. Braulio Ledesma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goalkeeper Braulio Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Fontirroig. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Fortinducto defense, Alfonso de la Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Ledesma. The Fortinducto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Ledesma should have stopped the shot. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Rito in the 56th minute of the match. Fortinducto's Braulio Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Fortinducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Orlandus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Fortinducto's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso de la Cruz came free, but Braulio Ledesma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Rojelio got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santos Rito. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Braulio Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
