Nando Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jean Alves hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute really tested Jailson Soares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio de Carvalho came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jailson Soares, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Attila Iványi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eugênio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Breguete FC's Jailson Soares managed to reach the ball for a save. Eugênio de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
