After 7 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Furo Bolas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Empire of Soccer's Teukros Diplarakos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 12 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Teukros Diplarakos came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Teukros Diplarakos made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 21st minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 33rd minute of the match. If Wit Beton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Hernán Grana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ladislao Harriet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empire of Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Harriet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 63rd minute of play. Uriel Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 67th minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Empire of Soccer made a substitution. Natalio Blanco replaced Wit Beton. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Galanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam Campbell struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Uriel Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Ladislao Harriet struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute of play. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 98th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, USA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
