With his leg Jorge Errando managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Errando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Galsino in the 14th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Jorge Errando in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Errando could save by the left post. Jorge Errando made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Torres in the 29th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Jorge Errando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Torres in the 34th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match KIRICOCHO FC got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lázaro Galsino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Facundo Torres made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Chile got a corner. KIRICOCHO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Fontirroig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Errando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Galsino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Jorge Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Figueroa hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chile fans cheered their team off the field, for while KIRICOCHO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
