Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jullian Goris started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Jullian Goris sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Spiro's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Karol Haskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Spiro's Chance Edmonds got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 10th minute of play forced Spiro's goalkeeper Karol Haskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Spiro's Asher Bliss. 20 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spiro the free kick. 25 minutes into the match, Spiro's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Karol Haskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jullian Goris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Spiro's Gilberto Wilkins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Thaddeus Broussard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thaddeus Broussard kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Spiro's Thaddeus Broussard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 58 minutes into the match, Spiro's goalkeeper Karol Haskiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. After 59 minutes, Gilberto Wilkins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spiro and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Spiro's Gilberto Wilkins got a free kick in the 59th minute. Spiro were furious when Wilfredo Love was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Axel Tasis placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 65 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karol Haskiewicz. Spiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gilberto Wilkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 80th minute of the match Gilberto Wilkins completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilberto Wilkins a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Thaddeus Broussard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Moruga shot from long distance in the 91st minute, but Karol Haskiewicz was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Thaddeus Broussard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spiro were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
