Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dawid Beninda started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Mateus. JK Kurevere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Vera was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Dawid Beninda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dawid Beninda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 12 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Riivo Arro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Riivo Arro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After a rather tough play, JK Kurevere's Robert Müürsepp got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. If Manel Fonelleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JK Kurevere's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Kurevere's goalkeeper Virgilio Mateus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haarald Peelmann hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Robert Müürsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dawid Beninda went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Mairo Koppelmann came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the JK Kurevere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mairo Koppelmann couldn't finish the play. With his leg Virgilio Mateus managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vambola Vasser hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Virgilio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! The referee gave JK Kurevere a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Einar Reisalu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 3-1. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Reisalu in the 95th minute of play.
