Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 42nd minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 肖棋斌 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, 卓延西 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 51st minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 肖棋斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 56th minute of play. 肖棋斌 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 肖棋斌 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 肖棋斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 83rd minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Panama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
