An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Almada in the 9th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Rodriguez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Gaona succeeded in the game's 11th minute to get real power on a long shot . Ernesto Guevara SyD's Enzo Rodriguez hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Ernesto Guevara SyD's Enzo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ernesto Guevara SyD defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Rodriguez. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Rodriguez should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Beto Almada reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Enzo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Tirso came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Tirso charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Tirso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Tirso hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Enzo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Almada made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Beto Almada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 53 minutes, Pascual Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ernesto Guevara SyD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Lionel Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Mikolas took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 69th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Rodriguez. Ernesto Guevara SyD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mikolas came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Lionel Richie scored 4-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enzo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 90th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel Richie in the 92nd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
