Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabi Gol took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gabi Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when João Trigo sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goianésia E.C's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Balonek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabi Gol. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Goianésia E.C's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Balonek came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Gabi Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Attila Kertész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Goianésia E.C from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Gabi Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Gol in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Trigo in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabi Gol in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Gol in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabi Gol was slow to take the kick. During this time Goianésia E.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Goianésia E.C's corner Gabi Gol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After 83 minutes Goianésia E.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Attila Kertész managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goianésia E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Kertész was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Goianésia E.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Goianésia E.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
