Jairo de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Macoma Yoldia's 陆宁银 got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Wladyslaw Walczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macoma Yoldia's goalkeeper Erland Österberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Österberg having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Österberg saved Macoma Yoldia from getting behind. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Kent Juhlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Juhlin. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jairo de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Juhlin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erland Österberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilmer Månsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Macoma Yoldia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wilmer Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Macoma Yoldia's Kent Juhlin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Macoma Yoldia's Erland Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. Erland Österberg was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 3-2. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macoma Yoldia's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erland Österberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macoma Yoldia the free kick. The supporters of Macoma Yoldia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Juhlin in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Kent Juhlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macoma Yoldia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Macoma Yoldia.
