Godofredo Pepillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 29 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. In the 39th minute Rodolfo Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Montay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The long shot by André Pestana in the 43rd minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vedat Burçhan in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Bragança saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedat Burçhan was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Vedat Burçhan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Campus Douro Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. When Álvaro Machado came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Campus Douro Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Machado couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Pestana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Burçhan in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute Vedat Burçhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Machado in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Campus Douro Academy had played much better football throughout.
