Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Vergílio. Augusto Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Lamento Boliviano's Algimantas Tarasevičius got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Lamento Boliviano from getting a goal against them. The Lamento Boliviano fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Augusto Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Musseeuw in the 13th minute of the match. Augusto Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Augusto Vergílio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Jos Musseeuw cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Augusto Vergílio however easily saved by the left post. Jos Musseeuw scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Vergílio having to interfere. Jos Musseeuw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Augusto Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio did a great save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Christovao Abastas replaced Manu Abajas. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jos Musseeuw to make the kick off. Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jos Musseeuw tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lamento Boliviano's Augusto Vergílio did a great save. Jos Musseeuw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Vergílio was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Lamento Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Augusto Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsolt Molnár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was a well-played corner which Timoteo Abadie managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos Musseeuw in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jos Musseeuw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Lamento Boliviano's Jos Musseeuw. But to his dismay, Jos Musseeuw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.
