Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Janis Petko's shot from long distance in the 4th minute was not bad at all, but Chile's Thiago Pliego knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 9 minutes into the game, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ermengol Alberete struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC. Ermengol Alberete scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marquez Dolarea hit a great ball. Sindo Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 29th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Sindo Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquez Dolarea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermengol Alberete ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermengol Alberete in the 85th minute of the match. Ermengol Alberete struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socavon FC.
