The audience was convinced that Ladislao Harriet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ivan Prats hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes Paraguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Furo Bolas who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Empire of Soccer's Furo Bolas to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xanthos Fikias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Ladislao Harriet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Harriet came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Harriet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Ladislao Harriet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 42nd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Ladislao Harriet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Empire of Soccer were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ladislao Harriet made the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Harriet couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Harriet in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. 61 minutes into the game, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ladislao Harriet scored 0-5 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Pavlos Galanopoulos sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Pavlos Galanopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. If Pavlos Galanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Empire of Soccer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
